The Lin group studies the epigenetic characteristics of various diseases and new ways to diagnose and treat diseases. We use the techniques of sequencing, chemistry, biology as tools to study clinical problems. Much of our research takes a highly interdisciplinary approach to tackle important questions related to human health and disease.
1. Clinical epigenetics: Collect the patient's plasma or urine, use 5hmC (5-hydroxymethylcytosine) epigenetic sequencing liquid biopsy technology, discover biomarkers closely related to disease early warning progression, drug efficacy, etc., and discover new targets and new drugs.
2. Chemical biology: Develop new chemical biology methods related to disease diagnosis and treatment, and use it to develop new drug delivery nanotechnology and new cell therapy technologies.
